Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana and his PhD from the University of California at San Diego. He has served as Acting Director of the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office -- a presidentally appointed position within the US Department of Homeland Security -- and he also has 30 years of experience in senior technical and business management at SAIC. Bill advises H3D on business and technical matters.

Don earned his undergraduate degree and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has held technical and management positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and has served as president and chief operating officer of Veeco Instruments Inc. He is currently president and chief executive officer of FEI Company. Don advises H3D on business and technical matters.
